JERSEY REDS recovered from a wobble early in the second-half to seal a 17-27 win away at Hartpury and ensure a 100% at the end of the first block of league fixtures.

Harvey Biljon’s side showed real resurgence with second-half tries from centre Alex McHenry and wing Tomi Lewis to keep to ensure a seventh win in a row.

Reds’ had started strong, dominating for large spells of the first-half with scores from wing Ben Woollett on the quarter-of-an-hour mark, and hooker TJ Harris from a line-out, to be ahead 12-0 at the break.

But a spirited Hartpury pulled two back from No.8 Mitch Eadie and wing Brad Denty during a purple-patch before Jersey went up a gear to ensure their fifth bonus-point in seven.

The Gloucestershire side closed Reds’ lead again through replacement Sam Lewis before Russell Bennett got a penalty kick in the final minutes at the Alpas Arena.
