A 35-YEAR-OLD man entered a St Helier restaurant with no shoes or T-shirt on and threatened to stab someone, a court has heard.

Liam Rix also shouted abuse and was later found with drugs on him on 5 August this year, with the Magistrate’s Court hearing yesterday that Rix went to Staks restaurant in Colomberie and was initially refused admission by door staff because he was drunk and semi-dressed.

He then threatened to stab someone and shouted abuse at staff and passers-by in the street, and obstructed traffic. After his arrest, he was found in possession of a gram of cannabis.

Rix admitted being drunk and disorderly and possession of drugs. He was fined £300 for the drugs charge and was bound over for six months for being drunk and disorderly.
