Norkapp Objective for the people of Ukraine

Smurfit Kappa Europe announces their sponsorship of the Nordkapp Objective, a fundraising initiative designed by the European Works Council. The Nordkapp Objective is a bike tour lasting for approximately 100 days. The purpose is to provide further support to Ukrainian communities and raise awareness of climate change and the benefits of an active lifestyle in liaison with our Wellbeing For Life campaign.

Our brave cyclists will depart from Gibraltar on the 4th of May 2022 and cycle for approximately 6,500 km to reach Nordkapp in Norway, also known as Europe's northernmost point.

While crossing ten different countries, they will visit 44 Smurfit Kappa locations to fundraise money for Lekarze Bez Granic, a Polish affiliate of ''Medecins Sans Frontieres'' which are on the front line supporting the arrival of refugees as they flee this terrible conflict.
