Youth Challenge Park Official Launch Party

Past Event

Whether you skate, ride, or roll there will be something to keep you moving at the launch of the much anticipated Albany Youth Challenge Park on September 24!

To officially launch the park and get all user groups down to celebrate, the City of Albany are hosting the Youth Challenge Park Official Launch Party on Friday 24 September from 4pm to 9pm.

A range of kids workshops will kick off the event from 4pm to 6pm when Freestyle Now bring their Skatepark Coaching Jam Sessions for skateboarders, scooter riders and BMX enthusiasts to town.

Sessions will inform and motivate skaters to learn new skills and develop confidence in their riding abilities as they progress at their own pace and levels throughout the Jam Session.

Two sessions will run with beginners from 4pm to 5pm and intermediate from 5pm to 6pm with a final all-in Jam Session from 6pm to 9pm.

Evening proceedings will also commence from 6pm and include a DJ, food vendors and a number of local businesses on display throughout the event.

We can't wait to see you there!
