Conditions of Participation
HELLA Electronics Quiz “Product of the Month”
 

1. Only persons who are permanently resident in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia, have a minimum age of 16 years and a valid postal address in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia are permitted to take part in this competition.
    
2. The organizer is HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA (hereafter “HELLA”).
    
3. Participation is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods and services.
    
4. The competition starts on July 16th 2021 at 10:00 am and closes on August 1st 2021 at 11:59 pm.
    
5. Participants in the competition must have an internet connection and a Facebook account. Using several Facebook accounts to improve the chances of winning is not permitted.
    
6. The HELLA competition is not connected to Facebook in any manner and is not sponsored, supported or organized by Facebook in any way. The recipient of the information that participants provide is HELLA, and not Facebook. Participants' data will not be archived or passed on to third parties and will be destroyed at the end of the promotion. Once the competition ends and the prizes have been distributed, the personal data collected will be deleted, provided there is no obligation for temporary storage of the data as a result of legal provisions.
   HELLA has no information in relation to the specific data collected by Facebook and how this data is processed.
    

   The participant agrees that HELLA may collect the personal data required for determining the winners for the duration of the competition and process such data exclusively for the purpose of distributing prizes.
    

7. People can participate in the competition via the HELLA Facebook platform. As part of the “Electronics Product of the Month” campaign, each electronics product will be searched for every month from February to July 2021. Participants have to work out which electronic product can be seen in the picture and post the answer as a comment under the post. One winner will be randomly drawn every month from all participants with the correct answer.
   
   The prize for June is a seat cube.
    
8. HELLA reserves the right to disqualify participants who violate the Conditions of Participation or attempt to influence the competition through technical manipulation. In the event of such disqualification from the competition, the prize may also be retroactively denied and recalled.
    
9. The prize may not be exchanged. Cash payments are not possible.
    
10. The winner will be informed that they have won by private message once the competition period has ended.
     
11. If the prize is not claimed within four (4) days after the winner has been notified, HELLA reserves the right to carry out a new draw for the prize.
     
12. Once the promotion period has ended, the prize will be sent to the winner within 2 weeks. Shipping is carried out by HELLA.
     
13. All HELLA employees, all employees of affiliated companies and anyone involved in running the competition are excluded from taking part.
     
14. HELLA reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the Conditions of Participation at any time without prior notice or justification. It may make use of this option, in particular, if proper organization of the competition can no longer be guaranteed as a result of technical or legal reasons.
     
15. The competition is subject to German law. The judges' decision is final.
