The annual John W. Baird ’38 Lecture is a signature Wesleyan event typically held each spring in Chicago. This year we are pleased to offer the lecture virtually for the Wesleyan community. Wesleyan is fortunate to count several alumni and parents who are currently leading institutions of higher education. Join us for a conversation with college presidents to explore leadership on campuses across the country during times of challenge, crisis, and opportunity. Moderated by Wesleyan Trustee C. Andrew (Andy) McGadney ’92, Vice President and Dean of Student Advancement at Colby College, this conversation will address topics such as racial injustice and violence, the #metoo movement, the COVID-19 pandemic, political unrest, and the future of higher education.
Nicole Stanton, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, will provide the welcome and introduction. Event detailsSunday, June 13, 2021 4 - 5:30 p.m. EDT
