The Liberal Arts Behind Prison Walls

The Center for Prison Education (CPE)  brings the liberal arts into two Connecticut correctional institutions, offering incarcerated individuals the opportunity to take credited Wesleyan courses, taught by Wesleyan faculty, that they may apply toward degrees.

Join us for an engaging program to learn more about the CPE and hear directly from faculty and student participants about their experiences supporting, teaching and participating in the program. Panelists include Lori Gruen, William Griffin Professor of Philosophy, Gabe Hurlock '20, and Marisol Garcia, York cohort of 2018.
