The agency, which has locations in France, China, Canada and the United States has been acquired with the prospect of improving customer loyalty amongst Accenture's client base through the creation of compelling digital experiences.

Details of the financials were not released within the announcement of the deal, which will be finalised upon the agreement of 'relevant works councils' and will be 'subject to customary closing conditions'.

Altima, which was founded in 1997, creates and adapts experiences for eCommerce, mobile and in-store commerce.

“Experiences are where brands win and lose customers, today more than ever,” said Anatoly Roytman, head of Accenture Interactive Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America and global digital commerce lead for Accenture. ”Adding Altima’s skills to Accenture Interactive will help in our mission to create the best experiences on the planet for clients.”

Altima lists ClubMed, Petite Bateau and Babilyss Paris amongst its clients and is the 17th acquisition made in four years, including The Monkeys and Karmarama.
