Slipknot rumoured for collaboration with street clothing brand Supreme

But will there be boilersuits?

Slipknot are rumoured to be collaborating on a new clothing line with streetwear brand Supreme.

The metal icons, who are due to release their sixth studio album this year, are said to be releasing the ‘Supreme x Slipknot’ collection in spring/summer of 2019.

According to the Supreme fan Twitter account, DropsByJay, the band has worked with the company on a range of t-shirts, outerwear, accessories, and stickers. Check out the post below.

The tweet goes on to claim that official images will be released “soon”. They add: “This collaboration has been a while in the making who’s excited?”

Slipknot or Supreme have not yet commented on the online speculation. However, as Kerrang! notes, the skateboarding and clothing brand have previously joint forces with bands such as Slayer, The Clash and Public Enemy across their 25-year history.

NME has contacted Slipknot’s representatives for a response.

Meanwhile, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor has revealed that he has been thinking about making a “dark jazz album” in the future.

“I’ve actually been thinking about…putting together a quartet or a quintet and doing a jazz album, like a dark jazz album and recording it in a room,” the frontman said during a recent radio interview.

“It won’t sell shit. It would really just be for my own personal collection. I love jazz. A lot of people don’t realise that. I listen to a lot of forties and fifties jazz.”
