Sandia/California Employees Donate Coats, Food To Those In Need

The Sandia Gives campaign helps residents in Tri-Valley.

LIVERMORE, CA — Sandia employees recently collected food and warm coats for residents in need during their annual Sandia Gives campaign. The coats were given to the Tri-Valley Church of Christ in Livermore. Sandia’s Krissy Galbraith led the coat drive for the site.

“This year, the site collected 150 coats,” Galbraith said. “This is a significant number of coats that will help warm those in need this winter. We are very fortunate to work at a place with so many caring hearts.”

The group collected more than 125 pounds of food, which was donated to the Tri-Valley Haven Food Pantry and 75 pounds of food and a small check were given to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
