The 2019 New York Auto Show has fully arrived, bringing a slew of new SUVs and crossovers, several fresh sedans, four speedy AMG models, and a couple of flashy concepts. We've wandered the halls of the Jacob K. Javits Center and have rounded up all of the notable debuts from this year's show. Check them out below.

2020 Hyundai Venue

Hyundai brought the Venue, its newest entry into the subcompact crossover segment that is somehow even more tiny than the already-small Kona. The boxy crossover gets a unique, bold design and is powered by a 1.6-liter naturally-aspirated inline-four. Gearbox options are either a CVT or a six-speed manual, and as of now it is only offered with front wheel drive. An eight-inch touchscreen dominates the interior, which also packs a 3.5-inch digital instrument display and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS

The massive Mercedes-Benz GLS was long overdue a redesign, and that's just what Mercedes revealed in New York. Sporting fresh styling that fits in line with the rest of the Mercedes arsenal, this behemoth comes with a 362-hp inline-six paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system in base GLS 450 form, while the top dog GLS 580 gets a 483-hp V8 paired with the 48-volt system which can add 21 hp. The dashboard is swiped from the smaller GLE, and includes the new MBUX infotainment system which comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

2020 Lincoln Corsair

Lincoln brought back an iconic name, debuting the Corsair, the MKC's replacement, at the show. Sharing a platform with the Ford Escape, the Corsair is powered by either a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four with 250 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque or a 2.3-liter producing 280 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. The transmission is an eight-speed auto, and while front-wheel-drive is standard, all-wheel-drive is available. Sales of this elegant crossover start in the fall.

2020 Subaru Outback

Subaru debuted a new Forester at the 2018 New York show, and used this year to show off an all new Outback. While it may not look too different, its been given a full overhaul. While the base model uses a 2.5-liter boxer engine making 182 hp and 176 lb-ft of torque, XT models now come with the 2.4-liter turbocharged boxer unit found in the new Legacy, which churns out 260 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque. The only transmission is a CVT, while an 11.6-inch touchscreen can be found inside.

Genesis Mint Concept

Genesis has a history of showing off concepts in New York, and this year it was the minuscule Mint Concept. A low-slung electric city car, the two passenger Mint features a bold design, with a swooping roofline and wide rear haunches. While mainly a design study, the Mint would be able to travel 200 miles on a single charge and boasts the ability to be rejuvenated quickly by a 350-kW charger.

2020 Hyundai Sonata

The new Sonata made its auto-show debut in New York, showing off its sophisticated new design in person for the first time. The sedan is lower, longer, and wider, and features neat daytime running lights hidden in the trim piece connecting the headlights to the A-pillar. Using a eight-speed automatic, the Sonata is powered by either a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four with 180 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque or the optional 2.5-liter that churns out 191 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque. A quicker N-Line is expected to join in the near future.

2020 Cadillac CT5

Cadillac showed off the new CT5, which replaces the aging ATS and CTS sedans in Cadillac's lineup. Base models use a 2.0-liter turbo inline-four with 237 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, while higher trims land you a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with 335 hp and 400 lb-ft. All-wheel-drive can be had across the range, and rear-wheel-drive is optional. The Super Cruise semi-autonomous feature is also available.

2020 Toyota Highlander

Toyota brought the next generation of its venerable Highlander SUV to New York, showing off fresh styling as this midsize SUV grows even longer to fit eight passengers in comfort. Built on Toyota's ubiquitous TNGA platform, the Highlander gets a carry-over 3.5-liter V6 mated with an eight-speed automatic or a 2.5-liter 240-hp four-cylinder with a CVT. The 8-inch touchscreen can be enlarged to an optional 12.3-inch screen, and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

2020 Porsche 911 Speedster

Although the 992-generation of the 911 has already been revealed, Porsche had to give the 991 one last hurrah by showing off the 911 Speedster. The roofless 911 steals the 911 GT3's naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six, which pumps out 502 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque. You can row your own gears with a six-speed manual as the Speedster sprints to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds en route to a top speed of 192 mph. Only 1,948 units have been planned for production.

2020 Kia Stinger GT-S

Kia brought out a special edition of the fearsome Stinger sports sedan called the GT-S. Sporting an eye-searing coat of Federation Premium Orange paint, the Stinger is littered with carbon fiber pieces, while the interior is swathed in Alcantara and suede. While power and torque from the twin-turbo V6 remain the same, Kia added the Dynamic All-Wheel Drive system, which incorporates a drift mode that can push up to 100 percent of power to the rear wheels. Only 800 units are planned.

Kia HabaNiro Concept

Kia also showed off the wild HabaNiro Concept, which despite the cheesy name and crazy butterfly doors, acts as a preview of the forthcoming second-generation Niro SUV. The concept is powered by two electric motors sending power to all four wheels, and has a range of over 300 miles. Multicolored bodywork and a reimagined "tiger nose" grille are the highlights of the wacky design.

2020 Jaguar XE

With Jaguar skipping the Geneva Motor Show, New York acted as the auto show debut for the facelift XE. Featuring slimmer headlights and redesigned bumpers, the XE looks sleeker than before. An optional dual touchscreen with the InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system found in the futuristic I-Pace EV have been added to a redesigned interior. The 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four churns out 247 hp in base form, while it is bumped up to 296 hp in the R-Dynamic S trim.

2020 Mercedes-AMG A35 & CLA35 Sedans

Mercedes showed off a duo of compact AMG sedans, the A35 AMG sedan and the CLA35 AMG. Both sitting below eventual 45 AMG halo models, power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four, which makes 302 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. This helps the A35 hit 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds, while the CLA is one tenth quicker. Redesigned bumpers and wheels distinguish the cars, while AMG also upgraded the brakes.

2020 Mazda CX-5 Diesel

After a long wait, Mazda finally installed the Skyactiv-D diesel engine into the CX-5 crossover. Held up due to struggles passing federal emissions tests, the twin-turbocharged diesel makes 168 hp and 290 lb-ft of torque. The EPA has rated the diesel CX-5 at 27 mpg in the city and 30 mph on the highway, only 3 mpg higher than the base gas model in the city and equal on the highway. The CX-5 diesel will also come with all-wheel-drive, and the engine is also destined for the Mazda6 sedan.

2020 Mercedes-AMG GLC63 & GLC63 Coupe

Mercedes-AMG showed off two more new products, the beastly GLC63 AMG and GLC63 AMG Coupe, both of which received facelifts. Powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, the GLC63 comes with 469 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque in the "standard" version, or can be upgraded to 503 hp and 516 lb-ft in the GLC63 S. A nine-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive come as standard, and the 0-60 mph time is just 3.6 seconds. However, the GLC63 S will only be offered in coupe form in the United States.

Volkswagen Tarok Concept

VW brought the Tarok Concept, which is bound for production in South America, to the New York show to gauge opinion on the small pickup. The compact pickup uses a unibody platform - VW's flexible MQB platform - and while the bed may seem short, it can be extended into the cabin through a opening in the back of the cab. While the truck is a guarantee for South America, VW needs an overwhelming response to even consider bringing it to the US.

2020 Toyota Yaris

With the Yaris sedan already based on the Mazda2, it only made sense for the aging hatchback to make the switch, and the Mazda2-based Toyota Yaris hatchback was revealed in New York. The tiny hatchback has an appropriately meek 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, making just 106 horses and 103 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. The Mazda-based interior is a marked improvement, and sports a seven-inch touchscreen.

2020 Audi TT RS

With the rest of the TT lineup already tweaked, it was time for Audi to apply the minor refresh to the fastest of them all, the TT RS. The Singleframe grille was altered, and the air intakes on the front bumper were also revised. Full LED headlights and taillights are standard, while a restyled wing is mounted on the trunk. The interior has been freshened with a new 12.3-inch infotainment display. Everything under the hood remains the same.

2020 Audi R8 Decennium

Audi showed off the facelift of its iconic R8 supercar by bringing a limited edition, the Decennium. Celebrating a decade of V10-powered R8s, just 222 units will be made, with only 50 coming to the US. Based on the range-topping Performance Coupe, changes include unique 20-inch wheels, special Decennium badges and projection lighting in the doors that display the Decennium logo and the car's build number.

While the new Audi Q3 had its internet debut nearly a year ago, New York was the crossover's auto-show debut. All trim levels come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder under the hood, pumping 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. That gives it a decent 60 mph sprint time of seven seconds, although the only gearbox is an eight-speed automatic. The all-new interior features a 10.25-inch gauge cluster display and a 8.8-inch infotainment screen, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.

Qiantu K50

One of the most obscure vehicles debuting at the New York Auto Show was the Qiantu K50, which had originally been revealed in prototype two years ago at the 2017 Shanghai Motor Show. The Chinese company announced that its electric sports car will be coming to the US via Mullen Technologies, a company that will build the car in California. There are two electric motors, one on each axle, which deliver a total of 402 hp. A solar panel on the roof powers the in-car air circulation system, which is turned on when the interior temperature tops 77 degrees. The Chinese version had a 78-kWh battery, and a range of 230 miles on the Chinese NEDC test, but range and pricing for the US version are not yet known.
