Courtney Love to collaborate with Foo Fighters supergroup

She's teaming up with viral group Rockin’1000

Courtney Love is set to collaborate with Rockin’1000, the Italian Foo Fighters supergroup who made headlines after their band – which contains 1000 members – learned and performed ‘Learn To Fly.’

Back in 2015, the almighty band of musicians created the video in a bid to have Foo Fighters play a gig in their hometown of Cesena. In response, Foo Fighters ended up playing show in the Italian town to say thank you for the ‘Learn to Fly’ video.

Now Courtney Love is set to link up with Rockin’1000, appearing as their special guest at a show. The event, That’s Live 2018, that will take place on Saturday 21 July at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy.

According to a press release, the 1000-strong band will perform “18 of the most exciting songs in rock history”, and Courtney Love will join them for classic songs by her band Hole. Tickets for the unique event are on sale here.

Rockin’1000 are also recruiting for new members – namely “voices, guitarists, bass players, drummers, and keyboard players”. They’re accepting applications here.
